Funding for Culbokie Green

We are delighted to announce that CCT has been awarded a grant of £25,392.66 from the Rural Communities Ideas into Action Fund. This generous grant will allow us to install an outdoor table tennis table, natural play equipment, fencing, signage and other items. We will also be installing benches on site with funding from the Gordon & Ena Baxter Fund. We are looking forward to seeing the Culbokie Green take shape as these items are installed. 
 
We are excited by the prospect of seeing these items on site and Culbokie Green will be sown, by Tulloch Homes, with a wildflower seed mix in Spring. This will need some time to establish before the area is ready for use and we hope it will set the village a-buzz. We hope to involve pupils from Culbokie Primary School in some tree planting (funding from the Highland Coastal Communities Fund) in March. The children are also working on creating some bee hotels for the village.

This project is supported by the Rural Communities Ideas into Action fund, supported by the Scottish Government and delivered by Inspiring Scotland to encourage and support innovative approaches to community-led local development in rural communities across Scotland.
