We’re delighted to announce that Halloween on the Green is back for its third year on Saturday, October 25th, from 4-6 PM on Culbokie Green. 

We’re thrilled to have the Culbokie Players joining us for an interactive sketch, "The Mystery of PC Ping and the Ferintosh Witch." In a nod to our village’s name—which means "The Haunted Nook" in Gaelic—you’ll join PC Pong to hunt for his missing colleague, who’s been kidnapped by the legendary Ferintosh Witch!

That’s not all! You can also enjoy a Halloween magic show, storytelling, mask and lantern making, a "Spooky Eyeball Treasure Hunt" and other surprises. Registration for the fancy dress and best carved lantern competions will close at 4.30pm to give penty of time for the judges to make their decision.

Fancy Dress Competition: There will be prizes for the best individual and best family group (at least 2 people of at least 2 generations). The judges will be looking for 

1) Originality and imagination

2) Impact and the creative use of natural, renewable or recycled materials 

There will be prize goody bags for children doing the Spooky Eyeball Treasure Hunt leading to a mystery spinechilling word. These include marshmallow treats to toast on the fire. Get there early to make sure you have time to do everything!

The Green and the shelter will be decorated for the occasion, and we'll have hot soup and drinks to keep you warm. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN MUG! 

This event is for everyone - no matter your age. And don't feel you have to dress up if you don't want to!  If the weather doesn't cooperate, we’ll move the fun to Findon Hall.  We look forward to seeing you there for a hauntingly good time!
