Black Isle Photographic Competition 2023

The 2023 Black Isle Photographic Competition is now open. Everyone is welcome to enter, regardless of age, equipment or level of experience in photography.

The closing date of Friday June 30th gives time through the spring and early summer to take a maximum of three images to submit in any of the three categories, or you may enter images taken in the last three years but not previously entered into our competition. 

The theme for 2023 is ‘Seasons of the Black Isle’ which offers great scope for beautiful, imaginative images of the Black Isle.

Once again, the entry categories are based on the type of device you choose to use:

• Best photograph (using a camera)
• Best photograph (using a mobile phone)
• Best photograph (using any device, for young entrants aged 13 and under)
